There were quite a few references to s*x and many innuendos throughout the book. The spice is a little bit hard to completely skip.
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Cowboy Romance, Small Town Romance

My Review:
I have been completely sucked into Chestnut Springs and Elsie Silver’s writing and I loved that this one felt familiar but different enough to still captivate me and keep me coming back til the very end.
I do love me a good sport romance so it was fun to see the hockey aspect and how that was woven in. The spice was too much for me but if you don’t like spice and you skip it, it is really a great love story. The character arch of Sloane and her finally finding herself after so long and becoming empowered with Jasper’s help was so special.
I really admire what Elsie Silver is doing in connecting all the books and characters in this series. Seeing glimpses of the previous couples and a sneak peak into the next is so fun and feels so natural. I can’t get enough of the Chestnut Springs series!
