My Review:

This book was so good! The rich character development made me grow to love and understand so many of the characters, while the multiple timeline POVs added incredible depth to the story. This narrative technique not only helped clarify the plot but also left me with tantalizing questions that I can’t wait to see answered.

If you’re a fan of enemies-to-lovers tropes, this book is definitely for you! Readers who enjoyed A Court of Thorns and Roses will find plenty to love in this series. The blend of romance and action is perfectly balanced, making it an engaging read from start to finish.

Lor's journey was especially captivating, and her personal growth in this installment truly stood out. I adored the theme of found family, as the characters’ relationships brought warmth and humor to the story. Nisha did a fantastic job intertwining funny moments with swoon-worthy confessions, creating an entertaining and emotionally resonant experience.

I found myself completely immersed; it felt like I blinked and the entire story was over. The ending has left me eagerly anticipating the next book, which is set to release in November of 2024. Overall, this was the perfect follow-up to Rule of the Aurora King, combining answers with mystery in a layered narrative that I couldn’t get enough of. I’m already counting down the days until I can dive into the next chapter of this enchanting series

This book falls into the new adult genre and features a lot of strong language, along with crude and sexual terms throughout, even outside the spice scenes.
