My Review:
This was my first cowboy romance so I didn’t know what to expect but this book got me hooked on cowboy romances forever. I’ve always been intrigued with rodeos and bull riders in general so I thought getting a look into the behind-the-scenes of that field was so interesting.
In some cases, I don’t love reading the MMC’s point of view because I don’t need to know their thoughts when they are only thinking about spicy things (lol) but I loved being in Rhett’s perspective. I love Rhett’s family and I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series! The bonus chapter with Harvey and Summer was so cute and wholesome.
I didn’t enjoy the third-act conflict, it felt a little unrealistic and the way they were handling it was BUGGING me. But when it was all resolved, I started liking the story again. I also feel like the rest of the story wasn’t focused enough on the repercussions of everything that happened during the conflict.
Overall I think Elsie Silver is a great writer and she knows how to hook you into the love story. I can’t wait to read what’s next of hers.

I’m so happy I found this website. Thank you for all the work you are doing to make these books more accessible. There are many great books I would love to read, but I don’t because of the spicy content.
