My Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice Rating: 🌶🌶🌶🌶
This book has quite graphic spice scenes that can totally be skipped but there are definitely innuendoes and sexual conversations outside of those so if you’re sensitive to that, it might not be the book for you
Genre: Fantasy, Romantasy

My Review:
I get the hype, I truly do. I was so scared I wouldn’t like this because EVERYONE was talking about it and I wanted to be part of that club!
When you first start this book, it seems like a very basic fae romantasy and honestly, it felt like coming home because it reminded me of the books that made me fall in love with reading again. Then the book kept going and the plot would thicken and you’d learn more about their world and it would completely change your view on it being a basic romantasy.
The world building was INCREDIBLE and I absolutely loved the way and pace it was done at. It felt unique and exciting and I seriously had the hardest time finishing because I didn’t want it to be over.
The romance was just 🥵🥵 wow, it is definitely in my top 5 romances in a fantasy book. It had so much tension and the characters were so good together. I absolutely loved the emotional depth we saw from both of them, it was so raw and real. This got a four on the spice scale.
This book is new adult. There is lots of language and definitely crude and sexual language outside of the spice scenes. There is violence and gore and it is described in detail.
