This book is very mild, not a lot of spice or sexual content but it picks up as the series goes!!

My Review:

I am still just as obsessed with this book the second time as I was the first!!

I am so amazed at how many small things I picked up that mean something huge later that I didn’t notice the first time!!

The development of Diem’s character in this book is so crucial to the rest of the series and I love love love how it was done!! I am listening to it during my re read and the narrator does an incredible job and making you feel how Diem is feeling.

I love the pace at which this world develops. It’s not overwhelming and it’s not too slow! I am loving paying attention to more of the world this time so I’m fully ready for the fourth book.

The romance in this one is so full of tension and emotion and it’s so good! It gets a two on the pepper scale.

This book fits into the new adult category. There are some swears in this book and a few innuendoes, because I’ve already read this series I can say that both do get higher in frequency as the books progress. The main character is a healer so there are graphic descriptions of Injuries and violence that might not be suitable for some.

This series is not yet finished but will be as soon as the fourth book releases!
